In Room 2 we were lucky enough to watch ¨The Boy With Wings'. This was about a boy on a epic journey for treasure when the treasure was were he started and he got arrested for following his dreams also about the longest migrating bird. My favourite part was when the water was under him the whole time : )

EMMA TWIGG DESTROYS THE COMPETITION

Emma Twigg Won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics.

on Friday. A fish was so excited that she won it jump

out of the water! "For me this is for everybody.

It's a dream come true." 

Emma Twigg was looking so strong when she was in the lead and Hanna Prakatsen in behind but she had no chance of caching up. She made our country real proud. Twigg was so happy that she won.

Twigg is the best women rower in the world she reset the world record in rowing with a time of 7.13.97 which in a new world record. She is 34 born on the 1st of March she was the oldest out of everyone in the race.

In conclusion she is the best in the women's rowing. We cant wait for her to be back next year.

Alex's Haiku about autunm leaves

In room two we have been learning about Haiku's and the Autumn leaves.

We went on a walk the cross country. We also stopped at a point were there were a lot of leaves we made a hill of leaves and we jumped on it.

It was a lot of fun.

Refugee Walk

On Monday 10TH  of May 2021.The senior syndicate went on a walk to the New Brighton Red Zone.

We had four activities. One activity was to pretend to cross the border into China. We were given a piece of paper we had to find out what it said that was written in Chinese.

The second activity was to eat hot rice with our bear hands. On a scale one to ten it would be an eight.

Im in the bush

The third activity was to build a hut out of a tarp and rope. Me and my friend Sam made a hut with a camo tarp it was small but cool.

Finally we had some cones which were the fake bombs and we had to dodge them.

Limericks

Me and my friends made a really funny limerick.

We had to use a rhythm it went like this, Da DUM da da DUM da da DUM.

There was a man named Bob,

He had a real bad stinky job,

He had to pick up poop,

With one big scoop, Then exploded his real bad job!
